I have quit, but I always fall back...

Let's examine backsliding a bit. Everybody makes mistakes, so this shouldn't be taken too seriously. It happens once or twice that we step back. This time don't concentrate on remorse but accept that you made a mistake. Pay attention to this aspect until you discover its reason: why was the backsliding needed perhaps? Finally you may recognise that it didn't make any sense, so next time you won't make that mistake.

Be careful not to connect negative backsliding with a positive experience. If something positive happens during backsliding it didn't happen because of the harmful passion. Let's see a concrete example. You go to a meeting, and your business partner smokes there while you have already given up. You light up a cigarette because you think that this is needed for the success of the transaction, this way you can get closer to your business connection. The business is done. But don't think that it's because you smoked, but because you are a great businessman.
