How can you help your child to enjoy exercise?

Children enjoy copying adults and the world that surrounds them. Some of the exercises of the FITFIVE system are named after animals, plants, and other natural phenomenon. They are easy to learn and kids enjoy them more than conventional exercise.

Always show the exercise to your children and then let them try to do it on their own. After the first try, demonstrate the exercise again and correct any errors that occurred during the exercise. Explain why it is beneficial to their health and well-being to do the exercise correctly. If you can get them interested in health and well-being early in life, they will want to continue later on in life also. Children enjoy exercising much more when the initial learning experience was interesting and rewarding.

I have compiled some basic questions that can be asked while teaching and practising with your child. These questions can be found in the Exercises menu.

Show children how strong and flexible they are. If a kid is aware of his or her body's limitations, they will much less likely to attempt to do something out of their individual normal range.

Many children have a lot of exercise equipment, such as balls, jump ropes, sticks, beanbags, wall bars, ropes, and benches. Unfortunately, these tools are often not used or implemented in everyday practise. Teaching them to use these tools properly is very important. They can be used over and over again every time the child learns new movements. Once you have already practised an exercise well, free your imagination. Have your child do the exercise holding one of the tools in their hands. Let's Go!
