Cause 2: The age of fast food

What about frozen and pre-made food items?

People often like watching films about the culinary arts and reading recipe books, but only a few of us are active in the kitchen. The majority of families go to the supermarket once a week and purchase frozen, ready to eat foods. Such foods only need to be popped in the microwave and in just a few minutes the warm food is ready on the table.

Today we find a high degree of contamination in our food: nutrient solutions, artificial fertilisers that absorb into produce, growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and tranquillisers used on livestock.

Kitchen ready, frozen foods contain many harmful chemicals. Colouring agents for keeping the colour, preservatives to prevent food from going bad, taste enhancers, and stabilisers to keep consistency.

These additives are very harmful to our system. Existing studies dramatically illustrate this harm, and an even more frightening idea is what affects large quantities and combinations will have on a developing child? Who knows what the accumulation of these additives in the human body will lead to in the long run?

Fast food is produced from cheap and inferior ingredients. Most of the time, these ingredients are industrial leftovers. If you have not been in a slaughterhouse, do not even consider visiting one as you will be likely to get very depressed when you realise what you have been eating all this time. Just imagine how many harmful chemicals we put into our system every day.

Quality food is always natural food that is only processed to a small degree. This way its nutritional value is higher and it contains no harmful additives. Fresh food makes you youthful while frozen processed food provides only dead energy.
