The simplest and most effective method is to start from the inside: looking after the body means looking after the soul as well.

As a first step, your mind has to free itself from the blindness of materialism and you have to open up to a more perfect, more beautiful, more valuable spiritual life. Your true self is inside your body and you’ll find a safe berth when you find it in its entirety. You have to make the decision to take care of your body and your soul as your most valuable possessions!

Take your body seriously. Shake hands with it in your imagination and say: ’Let’s be friends and take care of each other. I want you to function well all the time and to help me with my life. Be strong and be healthy! Help me find myself and my soul mate, my love, let me be enduring and successful in the profession I choose, let me be good at sports, let my development be flawless so that I can help others and show them a good example.’
